We are looking for an attorney who has a desire to work up cases in detail while being supported by an A team. We’ve built an environment that allows more deep-thinking and creativity than most personal injury firms out there. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, we exclusively handle personal injury and long-term disability cases. Our new attorney will work with a growing team of 20 legal professionals and interact with clients, attorneys, judges, medical providers, and other legal professionals as needed. We’re a fast-growing plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Kansas City that’s passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. We want both clients and professional staff to thrive in the work we do each day. That may include you! Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 yearly Responsibilities: A typical day for this position may include: Developing a case strategy and executing that strategy. Interacting and negotiating with insurance companies. Communicating with clients with empathy and openness about their cases. Supervising paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring tasks are completed in our case management system. Review medical records and reports. Supervise the settlement and lien reduction process. Celebrate client victories. Qualifications: To be a part of our team, the ideal candidate will haveat least 3 years of legal experienceand should have the following traits: Good with people and able to empathize with clients. Motivated, takes initiative, and enjoys solving problems, Hunger to learn and grow in all aspects of being a personal injury attorney. Willing to take ownership and speak up to help us all improve every day. Skills & Qualifications: Active Bar License in Missouri and/or Kansas (both Missouri & Kansas preferred). Minimum 3-5 years in the practice of law, with a preference for personal injury law. Top-tier organization and prioritization skills (a must-have), Experience in working directly with clients and insurance companies. Willingness to learn our systems and as part of a growing team.
