About This Role
The Developer II/III PeopleSoft Systems Developer will provide
development and end-user support for our PeopleSoft products (CS
and HCM), uAchieve (DARs), and SEVIS processing. This role is part
of a collaborative team that thrives on providing creative,
innovative, and timely solutions for our campus.
Depending on qualifications, this position may be hired at either
the Developer II or Developer III level. The Developer III role
will have additional responsibilities for leadership, mentorship,
and process automation.
Responsibilities:
Provide development and support for PeopleSoft (CS and HCM),
uAchieve, and SEVIS processing.
Collaborate with team members to deliver creative and effective
solutions.
Analyze, update, and troubleshoot PeopleSoft systems to meet campus
needs.
Modernize legacy systems, including refactoring or replacing old
SQRs with updated tools and technologies.
Emphasize code quality and maintainability by conducting code
reviews, improving code readability, and adhering to coding
standards. Promote practices that enhance team collaboration and
ensure consistent, high-quality code.
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to enhance the
quality and consistency of delivered solutions.
Additional Responsibilities for Developer III:
Lead process automation efforts to streamline workflows and improve
operational efficiency.
Take ownership of complex problems, designing innovative and
scalable solutions.
Provide mentorship and peer coaching, fostering a culture of
continuous improvement and skill development.
Supervise students, as needed, to support team projects and
goals.
Drive improvements in development practices by advocating for and
implementing best practices in testing, deployment, and code
quality.
Develop strategies for modernizing legacy applications, ensuring
they align with current and future campus needs.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Minimum Qualifications
Developer II: Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant
experience.
Developer III: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant
experience.

Anticipated Hiring Pay Range
Developer II - $70,000-$80,000
