Job DescriptionThe Opportunity:In this role at the Hospice House you will assist patient in both a Nursing Assistant role as well as duties as a Information Associate which includes maintaining functions at the nurses station, answering the phones, letting in visitors, answering call lights, maintaining medical records, using EMR, scanning, collaborating with both in house staff as well as Intake staff, etc. to clearly communicate needs.Shift: This opportunity works 2 10-hour shifts per week, 8am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday at the Hospice HouseThe Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse. The Nursing Assistant functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility of the Nursing Assistant is to provide basic patient cares such as bathing and hygiene elimination and toileting nutrition feeding and hydration and ambulation and positioning.
