great! Job Title: Federal Roofing Senior Project Manager &
Estimator Salary Range: $120,000- $180,000 annual salary DOE Work
Location: Flexible Position Overview: The Senior Federal Project
Manager / Estimator is fully responsible for overseeing the
complete lifecycle of assigned solicitation opportunities and
projects to ensure the goals and objectives are accomplished within
scope, schedule, budget, and key performance indicators.
Additionally, this position will participate in Federal: division
planning, business development, and scheduling. Essential Functions
Federal Proposal Team Member Participate in lead generation,
monitor opportunities, business development, and write proposals
Attend Federal networking events and assist with strategic
initiatives Federal Estimator: Become proficient with Edge
estimating software for Federal projects within 9 months Attend
site walks, pre-bid meetings, roof inspections, project meetings,
and others as applicable Source and negotiate pricing with
suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors Compile project
reports, manufacturer documents, and submittals Complete risk
analysis and recommend margin strategy on complex projects Generate
custom job cost reports for reviews, tracking, and auditing Federal
Project Manager: Facilitate contract/subcontract review to ensure
timely execution and risk identification Ensure Permits,
Certificates of Insurance, and Bonds are issued timely after award
Coordinate with appropriate team members to develop and submit all
project planning documents (Site Staging, Safety, Quality, Waste,
Small Business Subcontracting, etc.) Lead Pre-Construction,
Progress, and After-Action meetings with clear agenda and action
items Prepare Schedule of Values and oversee billings to comply
with project goals Identify, subcontract, and manager other
contractors and architects as applicable to work scope Prepare
Material Orders and Pick List and confirm quotes from supplier and
inventory Oversee submittal of all required documents, submittals,
and plans by required deadlines Maintain required logs and
documentation for tracking and financial reporting and forecasting
Collaborate with Superintendent and Operations to monitor schedule
and execute project Generate change orders and submit RFIs within
48 hours of notice Track specific daily project information and
report any deficiencies on a weekly basis Review and approve
invoices, monitor job costs and update project forecasts Return
communication with Clients and Stakeholders within 1 business day
Verify and submit all Project Closeout documents, ensure the
warranty is paid promptly Manage multiple projects simultaneously
as needed Required Skills and Abilities: OSHA 30 certification (or
ability to obtain) Possess and maintain valid Drivers License
Excellent understanding of job safety requirements and adherence to
all work safety protocols Advanced knowledge of Federal
construction project compliance and contract requirements Exhibit
knowledge of general construction as a whole; as well as industry
codes and standards Ability to lead by example and be involved in
the onsite project activities when necessary Ability to
read/interpret architectural plans, specifications, solicitations,
and contracts Proficiency with computer systems such as Google
Workspace, Primavera, Edge, Microsoft Office, Buildertrend, RMS,
and various Project Management Software platforms. Aptitude for
continuous improvement in Federal construction industry and project
management Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiations
and stakeholder expectation management Experienced in project
controls, proposal writing, and creative problem solving Flexible -
enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction and
seasonal changes Time Management -great time management; able to
prioritize and meet deadlines Embody and model JR&CO company
values Always represent the company in a positive manner Ability to
obtain a secret level security clearance Demonstrate respect to
clients, supervisors, and team members, communicating concerns in a
professional manner and always adhere to standards of conduct and
company policies Education and Experience: Construction Management
or Project Management degree is preferred Minimum 10 years of
construction project management and trade industry experience
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred Work
Environment/Physical Requirements: Pass initial drug test and
participate in random drug test program Primarily indoor office
environment (approximately 90% office) Some outdoor environments in
all types of weather (approximately 10% fieldwork) Ability to
perform elevated work (work on rooftops, heights) Occasional travel
required for site visits, in-person trainings, and networking
Frequently lift and carry 50lbs or greater Frequent bending,
kneeling, walking Overtime and weekend work Compensation &
